Our designs come from our rich Medititarian heritage, rich in influences from Italy, Spain and as far as France. Prior to the birth of M&E in Kitchener, Ontario we worked in our respective countries as Master Welders and Artisan- Craftsmen. Seeing opportunity in Canada we moved to Toronto, Ontario. For a few years we delighted the European community both in Toronto and Florida, until we began to crave the easy pace of a smaller town, still rich with ethnic flavor. Moving to the culturally diverse Kitchener, Ontario in late 1998 we opened the doors of M&E Metal art in Early 1999.

We have worked on many projects in the Tri-city area, as well as in Guelph, London and back in Toronto. We strongly believe commitment to ones craft, and our craft is wrought iron. We think of wrought iron not as furniture, but as art. We have no factory; we are not a large-scale operation mass-producing from moulds. Each and every piece is handcrafted from red-hot iron on or premises.
