Established in 2002, the Chinese Importer & Exporter Group of Canada (CIEGC) works to promote trade business through focused commercial education and networking to support individuals and businesses in Canadian Chinese community. Our mission is to provide a forum for the business community to:
Acquire practical skills for trade business -- marketing, finance, and import/export procedures.
Give briefings on trade issues.
Expand the understanding of business practices of Canadian trading partners.
Develop long-term strategic contacts to advance trade business.
Chinese Importer & Exporter Group of Canada (CIEGC) monthly seminar provides an excellent opportunity to learn while networking with others in the trade community. The seminars feature noted experts who make presentations on international trade topics. CIEGC also organizes skill sessions and seminars to provide in-depth information on very specific issues of interest to our members.
Every Summer CIEGC hosts the Chinese Importer & Canadian Agent Trade Event. This event has been recognized as the most influential one that is especially for Chinese importers and Canadian agents in Great Toronto area.
